Discover Your Own Hope & Glory With Heyland & Whittle’s Newest Collection
Flown since the 1st of January 1801, the Union Jack is as British as cups of tea, red London buses, the Royal Family, talking about the weather, and Sunday roasts.
With that in mind, we are just thrilled to announce the release of our stunning new range, Hope & Glory. Celebrating everything that’s brilliantly British, our new collection is an expression of our love for our home nation.
This range is characterised by bright, aromatic lemongrass and fresh citrus, and features the Union Jack flag on each product for a truly British present.
If you aren’t familiar with the Union Jack, it’s formal title is actually the Union Flag, and it is the national flag of Great Britain. It takes its name ‘Union’ from the fact that is combines the heraldic crosses of the nations that are united under one monarch.
Relating to the patron saints of England, Ireland and Scotland, the flag consists of the cross of St George, St. Andrew, and St. Patrick. According to the Royal website:
“The cross of St George, patron saint of England since the 1270s, is a red cross on a white ground.
After James I succeeded to the throne, it was combined with the cross of St Andrew in 1606.
The cross saltire of St Andrew, patron saint of Scotland, is a diagonal white cross on a blue ground.
The cross saltire of St Patrick, patron saint of Ireland, is a diagonal red cross on a white ground.”
This immediately recognisable flag, part of British history for over 200 years, is something we’re so proud to have on our new range.
You can choose from our new Hope & Glory Organic Soap Bar - a luxurious triple-milled soap made with certified organic sustainable Palm, Coconut and Olive oils.
The addition of glycerine, which is a natural moisturiser, makes these soaps deeply nourishing, moisturising, and delivers a luxurious lather. If that wasn’t enough, these soap bars are also paraben free, and kind to the skin!
In truly sustainable Heyland & Whittle style, we offer our boxed and unboxed soaps to help you reduce waste. If you’re shopping online, simply choose your packaging option before adding your order to the cart.
If you might prefer your fragrance in candle format, may we suggest that you try the Hope & Glory candle in a glass? Made with a unique blend of sustainable soy wax, this uplifting candle burns cleanly and evenly for up to 40 hours.
Remember - to ensure an even burn across the candle, keep it lit for at least an hour and no longer than four hours on first usage.
The candle is beautifully boxed and makes the perfect gift – but if you prefer your fragrance to permeate your room and home day in and day out, we recommend our Hope & Glory Reed Diffuser.
Just immerse the rattan reeds in the bottle, and let them draw the perfume up through their fibres, scenting your home or office with this signature lemongrass and citrus blend.
To refresh the intensity of the fragrance, occasionally remove the reeds, flip them over and pop them back in the bottle – make sure to wash your hands afterwards to avoid the perfume transferring to clothes or other materials.
Whether you live in the United Kingdom or not, the Hope & Glory range brings a little bit of Britain into every home. We hope that you enjoy our new range every bit as much as we do.
